Depending on your choice of stay, unwind beside the Indian Ocean at a beachfront retreat or relax within the tranquil gardens of a beautifully restored colonial manor house.

This first evening is intentionally relaxed, allowing your family time to recover after your journey and ease into the rhythm of Sri Lanka.

As you travel inland, the scenery transforms from coastal landscapes into lush countryside filled with paddy fields, village homes and tropical forests.

This afternoon, experience the fascinating Monkey Kingdom Experience, a unique wildlife encounter created in collaboration with researchers studying Sri Lanka’s native primates.

Families will join experts to observe the behaviour of toque macaques and purple-faced langurs while learning about their social structures, conservation challenges and relationship with the surrounding ecosystem.

As the sun begins to set, arrive at your jungle retreat, where the sounds of nature become your evening soundtrack.

Rising dramatically 200 metres above the surrounding jungle, this ancient citadel combines engineering brilliance, royal history and breathtaking natural beauty.

Your climb takes you past the famous frescoes, the ancient Mirror Wall and the iconic Lion’s Paw entrance before reaching the summit, where the remains of the royal palace reveal panoramic views stretching across the cultural landscape.

Later, enjoy a specially designed Jungle Treasure Hunt by open-top jeep, turning the surrounding countryside into an exciting family adventure.
