Chathumini Kuruppu
With over 12 years of experience in Sri Lanka’s travel industry, Chathumini is the creative vision behind Wander Ceylon, shaping its experiences, guiding its direction of growth and defining the philosophy that influences how we bring Sri Lanka to the world.
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, her connection to the island goes beyond professional destination knowledge. It is rooted in a lifetime of understanding its landscapes, cultures, traditions, flavours and the many little details that make travelling here extraordinary. Combined with her experience working with international markets and discerning travellers, this local perspective allows her to see Sri Lanka through two lenses: that of someone who knows it intimately, and that of a traveller discovering it for the first time.
Her approach to travel design begins with a simple question: What would make this journey truly special for the person experiencing it?
Rather than simply assembling destinations, hotels and activities, Chathumini imagines how each experience will feel. She considers the pace of a journey, the people guests meet, the places they discover, the moments of surprise and the details they may remember long after returning home. Every itinerary is an opportunity to tell a story, one that reflects the character of Sri Lanka while feeling personal to the traveller.
At Wander Ceylon, Chathumini leads the creative vision, bespoke itinerary design, product development and the strategic direction of the company’s growth. She also spearheads international business development, building and nurturing B2B partnerships with tour operators, travel agents and specialist travel companies across global markets. Through these relationships, she works to expand Wander Ceylon’s international reach, create new business opportunities and connect trusted travel partners with distinctive Sri Lankan experiences tailored to their clients.

Shanie Peiris
With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry in both Sri Lanka and the UK, Shanie brings a valuable understanding of the finer details that shape an exceptional guest experience.
Her background provides a perspective that extends beyond destinations and itineraries, recognising how accommodation, service, people and thoughtful coordination come together to create a seamless stay. She understands the importance of strong relationships with hospitality partners and the consistency required to turn a well-designed journey into a genuinely rewarding experience.
At Wander Ceylon, Shanie contributes her hospitality expertise, operational perspective and industry relationships to support the delivery of our journeys. She works to ensure that the experiences envisioned by our creative team are supported by trusted ground partnerships, careful coordination and a high standard of service throughout.
Her contribution helps bring our ideas to life with the attention to detail and professionalism our guests and international partners expect.

Kavindu Silva
With a multidisciplinary background spanning business, hospitality and engineering, alongside professional experience in the UK hospitality industry, Kavindu brings a structured and commercially focused perspective to Wander Ceylon.
He leads the company’s financial and administrative functions, helping establish the systems, processes and financial discipline needed to build a sustainable and professionally managed business.
His international hospitality exposure also contributes an understanding of global service expectations, business practices and the importance of balancing creative ambition with sound commercial decisions.
At Wander Ceylon, Kavindu supports the foundations that enable the company to grow responsibly, pursue new opportunities and deliver its vision with long-term sustainability in mind.
